Butcher’s General Competition Terms & Conditions

Competition winners will be selected and be informed by Email/Facebook/Instagram messaging within 10 days of the Final Draw Closing Date and will then have 28 days to respond to that email to claim the prize. If the winner fails to respond within this time the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize offer and award the prize to a reserve winner selected in the same manner.

User Generated Content (UGC): by submitting UGC you represent and warrant that i) you are the sole owner of the UGC, ii) the UGC is accurate, iii) you are at least thirteen (13) years old, iiii) you give your permission for it to be featured in Butcher’s marketing.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

All winners and runners up must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in reasonable marketing and promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and images in promotional material.

No purchase is necessary to enter this competition.

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. All food for dogs will be Butcher’s branded.

In the event for any reason the prize winners do not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winners and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.

Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

The names and counties of residence of the promotion prize winners will be available by sending a correctly stamped envelope/postcard addressed to Butcher’s Pet Care, Dockham Way, Crick, NN6 7TZ.

The promotion is only valid for UK entrants aged 18 or over. We will not send prizes abroad.

Please note that employees, and relatives of employees, of Butcher’s Pet Care and its associated companies are not eligible to enter this competition.

The personal information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants. The Promoter is bound by the Data Protection Acts (1984 and 1998).

Superfans

The search for our Superfans is an ongoing campaign and will finish at Butcher’s discretion. Please note this is not a competition and there is no prize to be won/collected.

This is not a paid partnership, however Butcher’s reserve the right, at their discretion, to agree terms with each participant in exchange for their participation in the campaign.

Successful applicants must at Butcher’s request, participate in reasonable promotional activity/post content on their own social media accounts as approved by Butcher’s and consent to Butcher’s using their name and images in promotional material.

Your details will be shared with Metamorphic Marketing Limited, who will support Butcher’s for the duration of the campaign.

#NourishEveryDog Pledge

The Promotor will donate one meal to selected charities based in mainland Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales only) for every use of the hashtag #NourishEveryDog on qualifying competition entries.
Each ‘donation’ per social media post containing the #NourishEveryDog hashtag equals one meal, which is the equivalent of 1x 150g Foil Tray or 1x 390g / 400g Tin.
Total donations from social media posts will not exceed 2,000,000 (2 million) meals.
The Promotion is free to enter and no purchase of any kind is necessary.

Donations received by the charities are to nourish the dogs in their care and strictly not for resale.

Doggy Day Bundle Competition Terms & Conditions

The Doggy Day Bundle competition runs from 18.11.24 at 09.00 to 24.11.24 at 23.59. The competition will be promoted in partnership by Butcher’s Nourishing Food for Dogs and Curzon.

Entrants are required to complete a form on the Butcher’s website with details about themselves and their dogs, and agree to receive Butcher’s email marketing communications.

A unique email address must be used for each entry.

There will be one winner who will win:

• a pair of tickets to a dog-friendly Curzon Cinema screening. The two tickets will allow two humans in that can accompany one dog. The dog does not need a ticket. Participating Curzon Cinemas are: Aldgate, Hoxton, Camden, Canterbury Westgate, Sheffield or Knutsford. These will be issued digitally. Film listings are released on a Monday for screenings on the following Sunday. Each cinema has only one dog-friendly screening per week. These tickets must be redeemed by 31.12.2024

Butcher’s ‘WIN A Pet Friendly Weekend Away’ The Vet Show Competition Terms & Conditions

1             THE PROMOTER & PRIZE ADMINISTRATOR

• The promotor is Butcher’s Pet Care Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 01716195 at registered office Baker Group House, Dockham Way, Crick, Northamptonshire, NN6 7TZ.

2             ELIGIBILITY

The promotion is open to residents of the UK, aged 18 years or over only, excluding:

(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies.

(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the promotion or its administration.

(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above

3             THE PROMOTION

3.1.        The title of the promotion is ‘WIN A Pet Friendly Weekend Away’.

3.2.        The promotional period will open 08:00 14/11/24 – 23:59 15/11/24 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive. All entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

3.3 No purchase necessary.

4             ENTRY

4.1.        To enter the prize draw entrants must be present at The Vet Show at the London Excel during the promotional period by submitting details: full name, email address, job title, veterinary surgery name and postcode. Entrants have an option to consent to hear more from Butcher’s, entrants do not have to say yes to enter the competition.

4.2.        Entrants must select the ‘I agree’ to terms and conditions tick box. Entrants will be required to agree to and comply with any terms of conditions of entry to the event as communicated by the promoter.

4.3.        Maximum of one (1) entry per person, for the entirety of the promotion. Anyone found attempting to bypass this rule will be disqualified.

4.4.        Entrants who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.

4.5          Incomplete, illegible, invalid or misdirected form details will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for sign-ups delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.

5             THE PRIZE

5.1.       One £500 PetsPyjamas voucher will be issued to the winner by email. The winner can decide where they use the voucher at a venue of their choice from the PetsPyjamas website.  Gift vouchers can be exchanged for merchandise at PetsPyjamas, online at www.petspyjamas.com, or by phone. Product hotline: 0203 642 3161 or Travel hotline: 0203 642 3162. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash. Gift vouchers can be used towards the purchase of goods at a higher price than their face value upon payment of the difference. PetsPyjamas.com is under no liability for replacement or refund should vouchers be lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed whether they have been redeemed or not. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse any vouchers that have been modified, damaged or defaced. Gift vouchers are only valid with a unique voucher code. Gift vouchers are valid for one transaction and valid for 12 months from the date of receipt.

5.2.        There is 1 prize available to be won in total.

5.3.        The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.

5.4.        No cash or other alternative prize will be provided in whole or in part. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.

6             WINNER NOTIFICATION

6.1.        The winner will be selected at random from all valid sign-ups made via the form.

6.2.        The winner will receive a winning confirmation email (the “Winning Confirmation Email”), sent to the email address provided at the time of entry. It is the responsibility of entrants to check junk/spam folders to ensure they are in receipt of any communications.

6.3.        The winner will be notified by email via the email address provided on entry up to 7 working days after the close date (15/11/24). If no reply is received, the winner will be contacted via a further email sent after 7 days. If the winner does not respond within 14 days to the initial Winning Confirmation email, or is ineligible or rejects their prize, another winner will be selected using the same methodology as above. The process will repeat for three months after which the prize will be null and void.

6.4.        The winner will receive their prize via the email address provided on entry within 28 days of valid prize claim and the completion of the verification process.

6.5.        It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when signing-up and on acceptance of the prize.  The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the winner failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.

7             LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

7.1.        Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring in connection with this promotion, the fulfilment of the prize and/or the use of the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.

8             DATA PROTECTION

8.1.        By entering the promotion, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the promotion entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers solely to administer this promotion. Data obtained during promotion will be deleted three months after the closing date.

8.3.        You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to GDPR@butcherspetcare.com. By participating in the promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

9 GENERAL

9.1.        The Promoter will make available the prize winner’s surname and county of residence to members of the public or regulators who request such details up to three months after the closing date of this promotion. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.  The names and counties of residence of the promotion prize winners will be available by sending a correctly stamped envelope/postcard addressed to Butcher’s Pet Care, Dockham Way, Crick, NN6 7TZ.

9.2.        All winners and runners up must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in reasonable marketing and promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and images in promotional material.

9.3.         If the Promoter has any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, or if it has any reason to believe that efforts have been made to distort the competitive process or spirit of the promotion, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude any entrant from participating in the promotion and refuse to award the prize or withdraw prize entitlement.

9.4.         In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of the prize, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these Terms and Conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to  entrants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

9.5.         If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions (including but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to entrants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

9.6.         The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for proof of ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent) which the entrant must provide within 7 days of request.

9.7.         The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent sign-up to the competition.

9.8.         Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, syndicates, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted.

9.9.        The decisions of the Promoter are final and binding in all matters relating to the promotion and no correspondence will be entered.

9.10.         If any clause or provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared by a court to be illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, this declaration shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other clause or provision within.

9.11.       The Terms and Conditions of this promotion, and any disputes arising therefrom, shall be subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales unless you live in another part of the UK, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.

To redeem the discount in Tesco you will need to open the coupon via the link in the text message on your mobile device and click the ‘Tap to pay’ button when you have the product and are at the till ready to pay as this will UNLOCK your coupon. Once the coupon is unlocked you will have up to 20 minutes in which to use it by scanning the encrypted [moving] barcode – Please only unlock the coupon when you are at the tills and ready to pay, as once the 20 minute timer has elapsed, your coupon will automatically expire, irrespective of the promotion end-date.
29. The Promoter reserves the right not to attribute the discount in the event of abuse or fraud to these rules, without the participant being able to assert any right against the Promoter. Curzon Cinema Competition Terms & Conditions

The Curzon Cinema newsletter competition runs from 05.07.24 at 09.00 to 12.07.24 at 23.59.

Entrants are required to complete a form on the Butcher’s website, accessed from the Butcher’s newsletter which will be sent to subscribers only. Entries are unlimited and you may enter as many times as you wish.

There will be one winner who will win a pair of tickets to a dog-friendly Curzon Cinema screening. The two tickets will allow two humans in that can accompany one dog. The dog does not need a ticket. Participating Curzon Cinemas are: Aldgate, Hoxton, Camden, Canterbury Westgate, Sheffield or Knutsford. Dog-friendly screenings are available until 10^th August.

Social competition – Chatsworth Country Fair tickets

The social competition on @butchersdogfood Instagram and Facebook pages runs from 19.08.24 at 16:30 to 23.08.24 at 12:00. This competition is not in partnership with any other brand.
Entrants are required to like, tag a friend in the comments and follow @butchersdogfood on the competition post. Entries are unlimited and you may enter as many times as you wish.

There will be three winners, each will win one pair of tickets to Chatsworth Country Fair on Friday 30th August, Saturday 31st August or Sunday 1st September. 4.1.        To enter the competition, entrants must take and submit their photo in the Butcher’s photobooth at a DogFest event listed below. Entrants must agree to the terms and conditions and submit their first name, last name, email address and phone number.

After each DogFest event, all valid photos submitted will be judged by a panel of judges including Butcher’s brand team and one independent judge. Ten entries will be chosen by the judges to have their photo uploaded to Butcher’s Instagram account for Butcher’s followers to vote via a ‘like’ on their favourite photo. The photo with the most votes by the closing date at 12:00 on the Friday following each event will be a winner.

4.2.        Butcher’s Instagram followers must not inaccurately tag content or encourage other followers to inaccurately tag content when voting.

4.3.        Maximum of one (1) entry per person, per DogFest event weekend. Maximum of one prize per person for the entirety of the promotion. Anyone found attempting to bypass this rule by, for example submitting multiple photos, will be disqualified. If you win one (1) prize, please do not continue to enter the promotion, as you will not be eligible to win any further prizes.

4.4.        Entrants will be required to agree to and comply with any terms of conditions of entry to the event as communicated by the event partner. The event partner reserves the right to refuse entry at its sole discretion. By participating in the promotion, the entrants license and grant the promoter an exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such content for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. 6            WINNER SELECTION

6.2 The top ten rated entries per event, will be uploaded to Butcher’s Instagram account with a unique number on the picture. Butcher’s followers can vote by commenting on the post, with the number on their favourite photo. The photo with the most votes by the closing date at 12:00 on the Friday following each event will be the winner.

6.3 Any abuse of the voting system, including vote-rigging or any kind of vote farming and automated votes, will result in disqualification of the entry. Voting will be strictly monitored by the Promoter and any attempts to manipulate or otherwise unfairly influence the results will result in disqualification of entry and votes.

6.4 Votes will be deemed invalid if they:

– Contain defamatory, malicious, indecent or other inappropriate content;
