TAIL OF THE MONTH AUGUST – KATIE AND TYE
For this month’s Tail of the Month, we asked you to tell us about the happiest moment you’ve shared with your dog. We absolutely loved Katie Elizabeth Toms’ story about Tye making her special day even more special:
Hello, my name is Tye and this is my “tail”. I am a border collie (mix) rescue dog with one floppy ear, around 6, I have had four previous homes until I found my forever home on 3rd January 2014, I kept getting taken back to the kennels because I was “Vicious”. I wouldn’t hurt a fly and love cuddles!
Anyways, my humans got married on Saturday 16th September 2017 and they were advised not to put me into kennels, as it would unsettle me, so they did all they could to get me to their wedding! Sending emails to and from the venue (they even sent a photo showing how cute I was) until they finally let me stay! What a wedding that was, I felt like a VIP, I had a new bow tie, posh hair cut and many photo opportunity’s with the professional photographer, I felt a million dollars and will remember it for the rest of my life!!
