MEETING A RATHER PRICKLY CUSTOMER WITH JEN’S HEDGEHOG RESCUE
Earlier this month, we met up with Jen’s Hedgehog Rescue to learn all about how they help endangered hedgehogs, and to donate a car-load of Butcher’s food. Yes – hedgehogs love Butcher’s food too!
Jen runs her hedgehog rescue centre from her home in Corby, Northamptonshire, and currently looks after over 45 sick and injured hedgehogs. She has even taken on a baby fox cub this month! Jen says:
I would like to say a huge thank you to Butcher’s for bringing a gargantuan amount of dog food on Saturday! Now I’ve just got to figure out where I’m going to put it all! I often feel like I’m treading water and this donation has really helped to ease the stresses of running a small rescue. I am continuously taken aback by people like Butcher’s support and generosity. Without all of our volunteers and supporters, we really would buckle to our knees.
