CELEBRATE YOUR PUP WITH HOMEMADE DOG CUPCAKES

Our pupcake recipe features real, recognisable ingredients. Think bananas, wholemeal flour, and Butcher’s nourishing recipes, which are rich in essential vitamins and minerals. These pupcakes are soft, savoury, and full of flavour your dog will adore – without any nasties.

Ingredients you’ll need

• Ripe Banana

• 75g Peanut Butter (Xylitol free!)

• 1 Egg

• 37.5g Honey

• 50g Wholemeal Flour

• 37.5g Rolled Oats

• 1/2 tsp Baking Powder (optional)

• 65 ml Water

• Your dog’s favourite Butcher’s recipe

Method – let’s get baking!

Ready to get started? Follow these simple steps:

1. Preheat your oven to 180C/160C fan and get 6 cupcake cases ready

2. Add your banana to a bowl and mash

3. Add in the peanut butter, eggs and honey, and mix until combined

4. Then add in the flour, oats and baking powder and mix until combined

5. Add in the water a little at a time until all mixed in

6. Split evenly between the 6 cases and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until browned on top

7. Leave your pupcakes to cool fully

8. Cut out part of the top of your dog-friendly cupcakes and cut this part in half

9. Just like a fairy cake, pop some of your dog’s favourite Butcher’s recipe inside

10. Put the two pieces of cake on top

11. Remove them from their cases just before feeding them to your furry friend

Make sure to treat your dog to their cupcakes in moderation; whilst it may be their birthday or a special occasion, we don’t want to overfeed them!
