TAIL OF THE MONTH: CHRISTINA, TYSON AND STORM

My husky has got a toy that has a special meaning to all of us. When our Labrador, Tyson, was found to have cancer which had ruptured and I had to send him to doggie heaven, my grandchildren gave him a stuffed home-made tiger to take with him. We saved and kept the tiger as something to remember him by (though we will always have our memories). We couldn’t cope without our Tyson, the house was too empty and quiet (I guess we will always miss him), and my autistic son was reacting badly to losing him so I brought our new baby pal, Storm, home. Storm is a totally different character and is stubborn and naughty and goes through everything he can reach to see what mischief he can get into. It was during one of his treasure hunts that he found Tyson’s tiger. The two are now inseparable. Regrettably, the tiger Is now more wool strands than stuffing but when I see him playing with it I can’t help but wonder if Tyson is behind his finding it somehow and was trying to help me soothe his manic puppy ways. R.I.P Tyson, you will always be alive in our hearts. Love you.
